From Roger Ebert’s blog, Walter Murch explains why the human brain won’t allow for true success in 3D.  According to Ebert, Murch is “the most respected film editor and sound designer in the modern cinema,” receiving Academy Award nominations using 4 different editing systems for movies like Apocalypse Now, Ghost, The English Patient, and Cold Mountain.
